Bollywood diva Madhuri Dixit has become the brand ambassador for a charity project for the conservation of Asian elephants. She says recent human-elephant conflicts would not have happened if the tuskers had their space. “Elephants are one of my favourite animals and I love them. So what we need to do today is to see how we can preserve our animals. I feel very strongly about this,” the 44-year-old actress said in a statement.

 
This edition of the Synergy1 Delhi Couture Week will only get bigger as compared to season one in terms of the celebrity presence.

New Delhi, July 20 -- Delhi will see a star shower over the weekend, thanks to the upcoming couture week. Most of the designers participating at the Synergy1 Delhi Couture Week, to be held from July 22-25 at the Taj Palace Hotel, are planning to bring in Bollywood stars to either walk the ramp, or grace the front row. One of these is Madhuri Dixit, who'll be attending a fashion week for the first time in Delhi.
