Madhuri Mania

If M. F. Husain found her to be the "epitome of Indian womanhood," a certain Sanjay Leela Bhansali, wasn't exactly lagging behind in his admiration for Madhuri Dixit.

The reclusive director who cast Madhuri in Devdas, also admitted that she did cast a spell on him in her own way with her professionalism, talent, beauty and charisma. Brings to mind a spot poll, where Bhansali was asked to name the top five female stars who were fabulous dancers too. Not too surprisingly, SLB cited Madhuri in all the five slots reportedly stating that "for me, there's nobody beyond Madhuri as far as today's dancing goes."

The Denver based star who raked in a fresh round of media buzz over reportedly demanding "Rs. five crores" for a flick, is also secretly hopeful of SLB handpicking her for his ambitious venture Bajirao Mastani.

States Madhuri in a media quote, "Bajirao Mastani is a beautiful love story and Sanjay Leela Bhansali is a wonderful filmmaker. But the role must suit me, I can't be playing a 16 year old Mastani. If he shows her as a mature woman in her 40s, I'd definitely do it."
