Master chef Sanjeev Kapoor, the most celebrated face of Indian cuisine, and Bollywood diva Madhuri Dixit will figure in the country's biggest culinary reality show ''Amul FoodFood Mahachallenge'', to be aired weekly from early September.
The age-old ''battle of the sexes'' will be witnessed in the show that presents a kitchen as the battleground for the sexes to compete against each other based on their culinary skills. Madhuri will be encouraging the girls team, along with a professional mentor chef, while Chef Sanjeev Kapoor will be inspiration to the boys' team and their mentor. ''I am really looking forward to the next few weeks,'' Madhuri, the Lifestyle Ambassador for FoodFood, told reporters here this evening. ''I am going to provide my girls with all the motivation required and ensure our team wins the challenge. Women have a natural instinct when it comes to cooking, girl power will be predominant in this contest,'' she added. ''The Amul FoodFood Mahachallenge is a test of real skill and talent, we are seeking the special individual who displays creativity, knowledge, talent, and an innate ability to cook well, be it man or woman.'' said Sanjeev. Each episode will assess the contestant's time management, culinary skills, creativity, presentation and innovation in the Kitchen.
