The beautiful and gorgeous actress Madhuri Dixit and one of legends in choreography Saroj Khan made an excellent pair in Bollywood during their heydays. Music and dance are like the bread and butter of the industry and in such a situation a pair like Madhuri Dixit and Saroj Khan had the opportunity to show the world the magic that well choreographed dance could create.
Saroj Khan and Madhuri Dixit - Their bond
Madhuri Dixit is one of the most famous actresses in Bollywood and besides her amazing performances, she is known for her dancing skills as her hit dance numbers Ek Do Teen, Dhak Dhak Karene Laga and the very famous Dola Reprove. But the dance sequences in these songs did not portray Madhuri’s success alone; it was the success of the duo Madhuri-Saroj that made it happen. Madhuri considers the veteran choreographer as her Guru and mentor and believes that it was her privilege to work with Saroj Khan. Madhuri Dixit showed her wish to work with Saroj Khan again while she was filming Aaja Nachle (2007). She stated that she was a big fan of Saroj Khan’s and that she missed her.
While Madhuri appreciated the work Vaibhavi Merchant did in Aaja Nachle she confessed that she was missing working with her old partner. Saroj Khan on the other hand said that Madhuri was still the best dancer among the actresses in B-Town.
